The following information is issued Monday through Friday by the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.

There was a second COVID-19 related death reported in less than a week by the Leeds-Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit. That brings the total to 62 in their jurisdiction.  

There were no new cases added to the local COVID-19 totals in this morning’s surveillance report from the Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.

Adjusted totals have brough the all-time total of cases down by 1.

The number of active cases has dropped to nine. There are three cases in Lanark East, and four in Lanark West. In Leeds-Grenville there is one each in the eastern and western regions.

There is one hospitalization. That patient is in the ICU on a ventilator.

There is one workplace outbreak reported, responsible for one case.

Since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 1,920 cases of COVID-19 in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville, with 1,849 recoveries and 62 COVID-19 related deaths.
